Our sanctuary is a safe haven for elderly, disabled, and critically ill animals who can no longer survive the harsh realities of street life. Many of these animals come to us as accident cases—older dogs and cats whose bodies have endured too much, and whose age or condition makes it unsafe for them to return to the streets.
Some are blind, others are disabled or suffer from chronic illnesses like kidney failure. While they may no longer be fit for street life, they are full of life, love, and the desire to be cared for.
For these gentle souls, our sanctuary becomes a forever home—a peaceful place where they can live the rest of their lives with dignity, warmth, and compassion.
Here, we have open green spaces, clean sleeping areas, loving hands, and personalized medical care. We believe that as long as an animal is eating, comfortable, and not in pain, they deserve the best quality of life possible.
While some of our residents need lifelong medical care and can’t be rehomed, many of our seniors are simply old—not unwell. They’re friendly, affectionate, and full of character, but because of their age or disability, they can’t survive on the streets.
That’s where Rainbow Homes come in.
Rainbow Homes are shorter-term adoption commitments—loving families who open their hearts and homes to give senior animals a cozy, safe, and dignified life for their final years.
Adopting a senior animal is not a rescue—it’s a gift. A chance to bring comfort, love, and peace into the final chapter of a life well lived.
It’s a powerful act of kindness that creates space in our sanctuary for the next animal in need, while giving the senior pet a chance to live in a real home—something every soul deserves.
Some of our sweetest, most charming residents are still waiting for that chance.
